It was glitz and glamour as a gathering of who-is-who in social strata graced the occasion. Among other top dignitaries who also graced the ceremony were : Mr Solomon Nuhu Anyegwu Provost College Of Health Science Tech, Idah LGA of Kogi State, Engr D A Attah FPI, Madam Rachael Anyebe DLG Ofu LGA, Mr/Mrs Joseph Haruna Former HOD Education Ibaji LGA, RTD ASP Thomas Alfa, Danjuma Abalaka DLG Igalamela/Odolu LGA, HRH Chief Abel Etuh Etemahi Igalamela and Chairman LG Traditional Council, HRH Chief Haruna A Opaluwa Onu Odolu and a host of others were also at occasion.
Comrade Kashim Agbonika, Health Chairman Igalamela/Odolu LGA , led his friend Comrade Abuh Salihu (a tireless advocate for good governance, an astute political strategist and a powerful power player) to the wedding reception held at Federal Government College, Ugwolawo, Ofu LGA of Kogi State.
Royal Fathers were not left out as they attended the ceremony in their numbers.
Parents of the bride, Mr and Mrs John Abalaka were at the venue to grace the ceremony while the groom’s mother was also in attendance.
The Elder’s children were also on hand to show love and support for their father and his wife.
The Elder’s marriage is coming about three years after the painful death of his first wife, following a protracted illness.
