Ekinrin Adde Day: Olu-Adde to Confer Honorary Chieftaincy Titles on Eminent Nigerians

The National Publicity Secretary of Ekinrin-Adde Community Development Association (EACDA), Mr. Adewale Victor Adekanye has revealed that some eminent Nigerians will receive honorary chieftaincy titles at the forthcoming Ekinrin-Adde Day carnival. 

According to Adekanye, the conferment of the chieftaincy titles will be done by the Paramount ruler of Ekinrin-Adde Community, His Royal Majesty, Oba Olu Anthony Bamigbaiye Idowu, the Olu-Adde of Ekinrin Adde land. 

Speaking further, Adekanye disclosed that those enlisted for the honors have been associated with the community over the past years and have contributed significantly to the growth and development of Ekinrin-Adde. This, according to him, prompted Oba Olu Anthony to recognize and appreciate their support in community building.

According to the list obtained by our reporter, Kogi State Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice, Alhaji Muizudeen Yunuz Abdullahi will be a recipient of Aare-Fimogboye of Ekinrin-Adde, while the National Chairman of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Alhaji. Shehu Musa Gabam and his wife will be conferred with Aare-Amaiyegun and Yeye Aare-Amaiyegun of Ekinrin-Adde. The Managing Director, APAYYE Company Limited, Chief and Chief Mrs. Richard Asaje Folorunsho will be honored with Fiwasaiye and Yeye Fiwasaiye titles respectively.

Others include Chairman PRACO Limited, Chief  Success Obioma as Olutaiyese of Ekinrin-Adde. Barrister John Egbunu of Apex Jurist Consult, Abuja as Otunba Sobaloju of Ekinrin-Adde. National Vice Chairman of Social Democratic Party (North-East) Hon. (Pharm) Warmaninyi Theman as Otunba Bobaseye of Ekinrin -Adde.  Barrister Ladi Ahmed Jatto-OON- as Otun-Yeyemeso of Ekinrin-Adde. 

Adekanye, who noted that the Ekinrin-Adde Community has maintained good relationships with these  prominent Nigerians, stated that the title  to be conferred on individuals reflects their contributions to the community and their commitment to its development.
