The first indigenous Ejule youth summit will this year on December 27.

According to a co-convener, Yakubu Yousef, the summit is being organised by Ejule Youth Forum. He said the summit is aimed at fostering intellectual bond among Ejule youths.

“The first indigenous youth summit will create an avenue to be responsible and responsive from our restiveness. The need for peaceful coexistence among the youth to simultaneously and unanimously chart a new course for an infallible result will be our point of discussion.

“The youths in every society cover 70% of the population. Posterity will never forgive us to fold our arms dastardly like a zombie watching our community going down the drain as no progress can be recorded in an atmosphere of rancor and acrimony. If we are not better than our ancestors it is a disgrace to our generation.

“A sense of humour, high level of tolerance and understanding will boost our morale for a set objective. The proposed summit will give room for public opinion amidst of our royal fathers and people of high profile to brainstorm together once and for all to agree on a lasting solution to our problems.

“Election is here and we need not to remind ourselves that after God the next is government. Leadership is all about good representation and urgency in the cause of delivery. Ejule as a community need good representatives at the ward, local government, state and at the federal levels. This will be part of our discussion. A philanthropist is not someone who have much but those that have less and still give because they know exactly how it feels to have nothing. We’ll to help our community and also create a bridging gap between various philanthropists and beneficiaries.

“This is the time to contribute to the development of Ejule. Let’s give it back to the society that has given as much. This is the quest to trigger positive change in our community,” he said.
