The member representing Igalamela/Odolu LGA in Kogi State House of Assembly, Elder Friday Sani Makama has flagged off distribution of ram to clerics and vulnerable constituents.
The annual support for the people commenced on Saturday in Ajaka with the delivery of rams for onward distribution across the local government.
The annual distribution of ram is part of the lawmaker’s magnanimous support to Muslim heads and less privileged for Eid-ul Kabir celebrations.
Hon. Makama urged the Ulamas to pray for total and lasting peace in Igalamela-Odolu, Kogi state and Nigeria at large.
He also urged the Muslim Ummah to use the upcoming auspicious day of Sallah to pray for peace to reign across the globe, especially as we get closer to electioneering period.
