Eid’l Fitr: Hon. Aboh Sues for Peace and Unity

The Chief Administrator of Omala LG, Hon. Ibrahim Yakubu Aboh has called on Omala indigenes, home and abroad to shun acts that are discordance capable of bringing disunity amongst the people.
Hon. Aboh made this known after observing the two supplementary congregational prayers in Abejukolo, Omala LGA.
The council boss urged all Muslims and non-Muslims alike from the area to inculcate the lessons learnt from the Holy month of Ramadan and make them everyday practice in their lives.
He admonished that Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh) has always thought us to be tolerant, peaceful and united as human race. It is only in the face of peace and unity that development can thrive.
Hon. Aboh further charged the people to continue to pray for the New Direction Government of Governor Yahaya Bello, saying the government is determined to better the lots of her citizenry. He particularly prayed for the divine government of Alhaji Yahaya Bello, describing the governor as a rare gem who has the love of his people at heart. He prayed for leaders in different categories and wished President Muhammadu Buhari quick recovery and safe return to the country to continue the superb job he has started.
Eid is usually characterised with different activities, such as visitation to family, friends, relatives and well wishers. The Administrator took time out to visit traditional, spiritual leaders, imams and host of other key personalities, and they offered prayers for the Administrator, Gov. Yahaya Bello and President Buhari and their respective jurisdictions.
On those calling for the balkanization of the country, Hon. Aboh implore them to seek advantage of our diversity and channel their strengthen towards sustaining the unity we have enjoyed thus far.
