As the holy month of Ramadan comes to end with Muslim faithfuls into sallah celebration, the member representing Ankpa 2 constituency at the kogi state house of assembly, Hon Alfa Mommoh Rabiu has felicitated with Muslims faithfuls all over the world and particularly those of Ojoku and Enjema districts extraction of Ankpa local government area of Kogi state.
The distinguished honorable member in his sallah message enjoined Muslims to sustain the lessons and good morals practiced all through the holy month of Ramadan noting that the one month of spiritual cleansing if sustained will have meaningful impact on the society.
In his word: “sallah is not all about eating and celebrating, we must sustain the lessons of Ramadan, the good conduct and acts of charity that characterised it in order to impact on the well been of others who cohabit with us.”
“The main essence of Ramadan is to enable people undergo a process of spiritual cleansing and that is why Allah mandated it both the rich and poor as well as the able and disabled. I congratulate Muslim faithfuls worldwide most especially my constituents and I pray Allah extends our lives to witness it next year and beyond.”
