The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Candidate in the November 11, 2023 Kogi State Governorship election, Senator Dino Melaye, has congratulated Muslim faithful in Kogi State and across the country on the occasion of the Eid-el Kabir.
E urged them to be selfless and submit completely to Almighty Allah (SWT)
The Governorship candidate urged the people to imbibe the lessons of Eid-el Kabir particularly the virtue of selflessness and absolute trust in God, as exemplified in the life of Prophet Ibrahim.
Senator Melaye called on the good people of Kogi State to use the occasion of Eid-el Kabir to specifically pray for the State and spread love to one another, especially to those who have been deprived of their wages and salaries over the years in the State.
He prayed for the unity, peace, stability and development of Kogi State even as he wished Kogites, particularly the Muslim faithful, a happy Eid-el Kabir celebration.
