Eid-el- Kabir: Assembly Service Commission Urge Kogites to Keep Faith With Gov. Bello Administration

As Muslim faithfuls in Kogi State and indeed all over the world celebrate Eid- el- Kabir,the Chairman of Kogi State Assembly Service Commission Alhaji Andas Abdulmalik has called on the people of the state to keep faith with present Administration under the leadership of Alhaji Yahaya Bello.

In a statement he released on behalf of the Commission felicitating with Muslim Faithfuls in the state and indeed the country, Andas urged them reflect on the lessons unwavering faith and trust in Allah as symbolised in Eid-el- Kabir celebration.

Alhaji Abdulmalik congratulated Kogites who are currently in Saudi Arabia to participate in rites of Hajj to pray for peace, stability and growth of Kogi state before, during and after the November Governorship election in the state.

According to him,Eid – el- Fitri symbolise, sacrifice, discipline, faith, spirit of give and take, the people should use the occasion of Eid-el- Kabir to reflect on and  imbibe these cardinal principles in their lives.

Alhaji Abdulmalik called on Muslim Adherents and non Muslim alike in the state to shun any act that can divide the existing cordial relationship amongst the people  who have been living peacefully irrespective of religion or tribal differences adding that love of God and love of our neighbour, obedience to and total submission to God should be imbibed in the lives of the people of the state.

He enjoined the people of the state to always pray to God to give the state Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello the wisdom, good and sound health in piloting the affairs of the state.
