Eid El Fitri: Senator Ogembe Urges Muslim Ummah to Imbibe Ramadan Lessons

The Senator representing Kogi central senatorial district, Sen. Ahmed Ogembe has felicitated with Muslims and urged them to always be imbibed by the lessons of the holy month of Ramadan.
This was disclosed in a statement issued by him in Abuja during the celebration of this year’s Eid El Fitri that mark the end of Ramadan fast.
Ogembe called for a peaceful coexistence amongst people of all faith, saying supplications must be followed by love for one another and mutual respect for all.
He enjoined Muslims, to remain in life of sanity, prayer and service to God and humanity as has been observed during the holy month.
“The lessons of peaceful coexistence, love, kindness and holy life style during the holy month must be continuously consolidated upon, among Muslims and people of other faith.”
“Ramadan provided an opportunity for Muslims to devote more time to the acquisition of Islamic understanding through teachings and  preaching” he said, expressing concern on the need to make judicious use of the spiritual erudition.
“I congratulate all Muslims over the successful completion of the fast, may all the blessings of the month be yours for ever,” the senator added.
He thanked the people of Kogi central senatorial district for the confidence reposed in him and promise never to let them down.
