Eid el-Fitr: Rep Halims Greet Muslims, Says Upholding Ramadan Virtues Can Address Nation’s Challenges

The Deputy Majority Leader of the House of Representatives who doubles as Member Representing Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Federal Constituency of Kogi State, Rt. Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali Halims has sent his special felicitation to Muslim faithfuls as they celebrate Eid El-Fitr to mark the end of the Islamic year 1445AH one month Ramadan fast.

In a special message issued in Abuja on Wednesday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Comrade Muhammed Nasiru, the Federal Lawmaker particularly congratulated the good people of Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Federal Constituency for a successful breaking of fast.

The ranking member urged Nigerians, both Muslims and non Muslims alike to use the opportunity of the Eid el-Fitr holiday to reflect on the impacts of obedience, peace, harmony, genuine love, fairness, justice and equity which are the virtues of Ramadan adding that if maximally replicated in our daily lives can address the numerous challenges confronting us as a nation.

Rep. Halims further appealed for a continued support and understanding of Nigerians with government at all levels amidst the current economic situation of the country, noting that the country’s growth requires sacrifices if we must bequeath a prosperous nation for both the present and future generations.

He further expressed optimism that the renewed hope agenda of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will soon begin to bear fruits that will fulfill the yearnings of all country men and women vis-a-vis quality standard of living as He assured that progress can only be achieved when there is peace and security in all parts of the country.
