As Muslims, the world over, observe this year’s Sallah celebration, the Kogi state project coordinator of Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes (ACReSAL), Barr. Ladi Ahmed Jatto OON has congratulated the Muslim ummah in Kogi State and around the world on the successful completion of the 2024 Ramadan fast.
In her Sallah message, the ACReSAL boss said, “I bring my warmest greetings to all Muslim Ummah in Kogi State and Nigeria in general during this season of Eid-el-Fitir
“Alhamdullilah for the successful completion of one of the pillars of Islam.
“This is a season to remember the good things Allah has done in our lives, despite the economic challenges.”
She called on Muslims to imbibe virtues such as feeding the needy and to also be their brother’s keeper, stressing that Muslims should continue to pray for the peace and prosperity of Kogi State and Nigeria, especially in a period like this.
She also urged them to be of good character and be exemplary, taking after the Holy Prophet (SAW) and his teachings.
