The Olimene Attah of Igala Kingdom, Dr. Alih Ajuh, has extended his warm greetings and felicitations to the Muslim community in Nigeria and all Nigerians on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr.
In his Eid message, the accounting expert expressed joy and happiness over the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan by the Muslim faithful. He commended them for their devotion, sacrifice, and spiritual re-awakening during the period of fasting, prayers, and almsgiving.
Dr. Ajuh urged the Muslim Ummah to use the Eid celebration as an opportunity to promote unity, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence among Nigerians of different religious and ethnic backgrounds. He emphasized the importance of imbibing the virtues of love, charity, and forgiveness exemplified by the holy month of Ramadan.
The Olimene Attah also called on all Kogites and Nigerians at large, irrespective of their religious affiliations, to use the Eid festivities to promote harmony, brotherhood, and the spirit of national cohesion.
Chief Ajuh wished the Muslim community a joyous and fulfilling Eid-el-Fitr celebration, and prayed for Allah’s continued blessings, protection, and guidance for the nation.
While condemning the recent killings in Agojeju Odoh in Omala local government area, Chief Ajuh prayed for the repose of the souls of the departed and condole the families of those who lost their lives in the provoking tragedy.
He called on the State and Federal Government to promptly execute decisive actions to bring the perpetrators of the abominable crime to book and also provide a permanent solution to the heinous crime carried out by the herdsmen in Omala local Government area.
