In recognition of his loyalty, steadfastness and support for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the member representing Idah Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Emmanuel Makoji Egwu was one of the receipts of the awards conferred by the Forum of Former PDP Members of Kogi State House of Assembly on outstanding party faithfuls.
In a colourful ceremony held in Lokoja on Friday, Hon. Egwu was honoured along side other PDP members of the House of Representatives, Senate and House of Assembly.
Similarly, former PDP governors Alhaji Ibrahim Idris and Capt. Idris Wada were honoured for “standing with the party through difficult and trying times”.
Late Senator A. T. Ahmed was posthumously honoured in recognition of his faithfulness to the party till his untimely demise.
In his remark, Hon. Egwu thanked the organizers of the luncheon/award for their vision and for recognizing his loyalty, faithfulness and modest contributions to the growth of PDP.
He described the event as an opportunity for party stakeholders in unity of purpose.
He also commended Alhaji Ibrahim Idris and Capt. Idris Wada for “injecting the much needed hope and confidence in the party as we push towards reclaiming power in 2019”.
Hon Egwu equally assured party faithful and members of his constituency of his continuous commitment towards ensuring the development of his constituency and the growth of the party.
The event was attended by former PDP governors, Senators, Reps, party officials and other major stakeholders.
