The Kogi State chapter of Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) has commenced its 2017 Annual General Meeting and Scientific Conference.
The scientific conference will examine economic recession and the rise of depression.
As part of activities to mark this year’s event, the medical doctors will visit an orphanage home in collaboration with the office of the wife of the Governor, Hajia Rashida Bello.
On Thursday, the body will organise an awareness campaign and hold a special Juma’at service on Friday, 4th August by 1pm.
Kogi NMA bye election will come up at Saatof Hotel followed by dinner on the 5th. Thanksgiving service will hold on Sunday.
Special guests expected include the Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Umar Ahmed Imam; Chief of Staff to Kogi State Governor, Mr. Edward Onoja; Commissioner for Health, Dr Haruna Saka Audu, Dr Tijani Godwin Atayi and a host of other professionals.
