He thanked Kogi East senator for remembering the remotest area of Kogi state in the course of providing social intervention.
According to Abimaje, before now, the people survived through the stream water, wait for hours for the water to neutralise before usage for domestic and other activities.
“We either go to Oguma or Gboloko to get pipe borne water for consumption and usage, until Senator Aidoko Ali came to our rescue.
“Atimes, we stay for days to access water vendors from this same areas without any assurances of their coming”
He assured the senator of the determination of the people of the area to ensure massive support in the next February election for his re-election.
Abimaje requested the project tour team, to plead with the senator to cite other social services like hospitals and provision of electricity from Oguma junction to the area, as well as empowerment of the youths.
