A determined Ege/Iruvochinomi United Football Club outclassed the defending champions, Future Youths Foundation Football Academy in match day one of the 2nd edition of Ebira Tao League (ETL).
Ege/Iruvochinomi beat Future Youths Foundation 4-1 in an epic match played at the Ege Primary School football pitch on Sunday.
The Team Manager of Ege/Iruvochinomi United, Comrade Sunday Omeiza Yusuf, while speaking with the journalists after the game expressed his joy concerning the performance of his boys.
According to him, his club is fully set to lift the trophy this season.
Preceding the match was an opening ceremony which had in attendance members of Kogi Central Football Coaches Association, Nigeria Referees Association (Okehi Society), leaders of the host community, press men and other special dignitaries.
