The President-elect of National Association of Kogi State Students (NAKOSS), Comrade Moses Omeiza Audu (Troy) has enjoined Christians across the state to emulate the life of Jesus Christ.
In a statement singed by his Director General on Media, Abdulslimzy Maiyaki, Comrade Moses stated that in line with the true essence of Easter, Christians must take cognizance of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary.
“Indeed, Easter which marks the resurrection Jesus Christ from the dead offers us a unique lesson in the ultimate triumph of life over death, good over evil, love over hatred, truth over falsehood, hope over despair and unity over strife,” he said.
He called on Kogi state students to eschew all divisiveness, forgive and show love to one another as exemplified in the life and teachings of Jesus Christ.
