Easter: Lawi Urges Kogites to Strengthen Bond of Brotherhood

The member representing Okene I state constituency, Hon Lawi AT Ahmed has called for mutual respect among adherents of various faiths in the state, as this is the only guarantee way for peaceful coexistence among different religions in the country.
In his Easter message issued in Abuja and signed by his Media Aide, Comrade Danfulani Lukman, Lawi urged all Kogites to unite in confronting security threats and other development challenges facing the state. He also urged the people to rededicate themselves to the service of God, the state and humanity.
“I implore Kogites to use this Easter period to renew their faith in God and strengthen their bond of friendship and brotherhood that has held the country united since the amalgamation.
“Among the essence of Easter is sacrifice, love for humanity and total submission to the will of God. These virtues should not be lost on us Kogites. We should continue to pray for a peaceful Kogi State that will be a pride to us and the future generation,” he said.
Lawi also reiterated the commitment of the House to efforts of the state government to build a peaceful and prosperous Kogi.
