The management of Kogi State Polytechnic has called for prayers for the advancement of the institution the entire education sector in the state.
In the Easter message signed by the Acting Rector of the Polytechnic, Dr. Salisu Ogbo Usman, the institution felicitated with the government and the entire people of Kogi State on this solemn moment occasioned by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
“On behalf of Management and Academic Board of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, I heartily felicitate with our Christian brothers and sisters in the institution in particular and Kogi state in general on the occasion of the 2020 Easter Celebrations.
“As we bask in the euphoria of the celebrations, it is the sincere desire and prayer of the institution that this solemn moment be devoted to the cause of unity and socioeconomic advancement of Kogi State and our nation as a whole.
“As our leaders at the State and federal levels are confronted with the unprecedented challenge of COVID-19 pandemic, may we devote this moment to pray for them to find solution that will be in the overall interest of humanity,” the message read.
