Easter: Be Christ-Like Through Positive Impact – CMD CUSTECH Teaching Hospital

Chief Medical Director CMD/CEO of the Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH) Teaching Hospital, Okene, Dr. Shaibu Stephen Babatunde has felicitated with Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and the entire people of Kogi state on the joyous occasion of Easter celebration.

Dr. Shaibu, in an Easter message, expressed profound appreciation to God for the opportunity to witness another celebration to mark the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

He lauded the Governor for his efforts at sustaining the unity of the state and ensuring peaceful coexistence among the people of the state.

The CMD noted that Easter, which is the remembrance of the crucifixion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, is a significant event that symbolizes renewal of hope and victory over the challenges of life.

While congratulating the management and staff of CUSTECH Teaching Hospital for witnessing this year’s Easter, Dr Shaibu enjoined them to emulate the lifestyle of Jesus Christ by impacting positively on the lives of people and contributing to the development of Kogi State.

He urged them to continue to display the virtues of humility, compassion, forgiveness and undying love as exemplified by Jesus Christ, praying that the power of resurrection strengthen them as they offer godly and selfless services to the people.

He urged Christians especially to extend love and care to their neighbors, irrespective of religious, ethnic, or political affiliations and as well sustain their prayers for Kogi State in particular and the nation at large.

While praying for the Governor and his entire cabinet, the CMD wished Kogites, especially the Christian faithful, a happy and blissful Easter celebration.
