A leading non-governmental organization in Kogi Central with visible and life touching projects and programs, Dynamic Ebira Friends Club, has inaugurated an ad-hoc committee to implement its plan to sink a borehole on Okunchi community and two others.
Speaking at a grand dinner in celebration of the newly sworn Executives of the Club at Tafari Hotels last Wednesday, the newly sworn-in President, Alh. Ahmad Tijjani Ajayi, PhD pledged to expand the club’s reach.
Dr Ajayi donated five hundred thousand Naira towards to borehole projects and pledged ten percent of his salary to enable the Club achieve its lofty goals,
He reiterated his administration’s desire to consolidate on the past achievements of the Club in humanitarian services.
He charged the ad-hoc committee to ensure the completion of the project by end of January 2021.
He enjoined members of the Club and other well meaning individuals to invest their expertise and resources towards making Ebira nation great.
The President particularly commended the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alh. Yahaya Bello for the citing of Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH) in Ebira land.
He underscored the importance of the Club’s educational programs to ensure that primary and secondary school students in Ebira land are empowered to feed the institution.
The President emphasised on women and youths empowerment to grow the local economy of Ebiraland, to ensure people are meaningful engaged.
