Dr John Yusuf-Suberu Campaign Organization (JOYSCO) in Kogi on Thursday endorsed the Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda for the Position of National Chairman in the forthcoming National Convention of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Yilwatda’s endorsement by the socio-political organisation was contained in a statement signed by its Chairman, Mr Mark Obasi, and issued to newsmen in Lokoja.
The Chairman of the Campaign Organization said that the endorsement of Yilwatda became imperative in view of his pedigree as a seasoned and astute politician.
Obasi described Yilwatda as an honest, committed, and strong politician who can lead APC to greater heights following his huge achievements in just a short time as the party leader.
“Our leader, Dr John Yusuf-Suberu, Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Gov. Ahmed Ododo on Road Safety Matters, who will contest the Adavi/Okehi Federal Constituency Seat in Kogi Central in 2027 and the entire campaign Organization is rallying behind Yilwatda.
“We are so glad that the APC National Screening Committee has cleared Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda to contest for the position of National Chairman at the upcoming national convention of our great party on March 28 March 29 in Abuja.
“It’s our belief that his leadership would no doubt enhance APC’s chances during the Presidential, National Assembly, Governorship and State Houses of Assembly Elections in 2027, ” he said
Obasi, however, said that the Kogi Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Ododo, serving National and State Assembly members, political appointees, and all APC members in the state, were solidly behind Yilwatda.
