A retired Assistant Director General of Department of State Service (DSS), Dr. Williams Toyin Akanle, has expressed his heartfelt condolence to the family of former Kogi State Deputy Governor, Arc. Yomi Awoniyi over the death of his mother.
Dr. Akanle, a frontline politician in a statement he personally signed and made available to Newsmen in Lokoja on Thursday, said he knows how painful it could be to lose a beloved mother.
The security expert sympathized with the former Deputy Governor, entire Awoniyi family as well as the people of Mopa/Amuro over the unfortunate loss.
According to him, death is the necessary end of all mortals and urged the family and loved ones of the Late Matriarch to take solace in the fact that Mama Florence Awoniyi died a fulfilled life and left godly children behind.
He prayed God to grant the deceased eternal rest and the family the fortitude to bear the grief.
