Dr Malachi Paul Onailo Ogakwu has been appointed as the new General Overseer for Christian Evangelical Fellowship of Nigeria (CEFN) Mission.
He was appointed General Overseer during the CEFN 41st Annual General Church Council (GCC), meeting held on Friday at the CEFN National Headquarters, Anyigba, in Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State.
Dr Ogakwu, until his appointment, was the Zonal Pastor of the CEFN in charge of Lokoja Zonal Headquarters as well as the Kogi State Vice Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).
Having served in that capacity before, Dr Ogakwu was appointed General Overseer with an overwhelming majority.
He is expected to assume office on twentieth of April 2024, the date for the investiture.
Dr Malachi Ogakwu will serve a five year term.
