The Olimene Attah of Igala Kingdom, Dr. Alih Ajuh, has rejoiced with Christians and other Nigerians on the occasion of Christmas celebrations.

Chief Ajuh, in his goodwill message, called on Christians to emulate the virtues of Jesus Christ, which exemplified tolerance, love, and sacrifice. According to him, “Christians across the country should use this solemn occasion of Christmas to reflect on the life of Jesus and emulate his virtues.”

He urged Christians to remember the less fortunate among them, and reach out to those who are in need and make them feel the joy of the season.

He said: “Christmas brings a powerful message: a call for all Christians to reach out to others, be our brothers’ keepers, forgive and let the light of our good deeds shine for all as we care for the sick, the hungry, the downtrodden and others at the verge of despair. It embodies hope as essence of life.

While saluting Nigerians for their resilience, perseverance and patience, Ajuh noted that the economic challenges facing the nation will soon be a thing of the past. The Accounting expert urged Nigerians to show understanding with the government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR. He said the tough economic decisions like the removal of petrol subsidy, unification of foreign exchange, and tax reforms are inevitable actions that must be taken to correct the macroeconomics distortion that has been prevalent in the economy for over a decade now.
