Hon. Muhammed Ibrahim – Ayuba Nana, the Administrator of Ankpa LGA is perfecting plans to sell off government properties belonging to Ankpa Local Government Area of Kogi state.
It has come to the notice of youths and people of Ankpa LGA that the administrator of Ankpa local government, Ayuba Nana has perfected his unholy and unpatriotic plan to sell properties belonging to the local government after been hinted his imminent exit from office. This, we heard is been done clandestinely and in strict connivance with the top officials of the local councils who were cited as beneficiaries of this obscene criminality.
These properties include; the Local Mass Transit buses, some of the earth moving equipment like tractors, government buildings and indeed other landed properties belonging to the local government.
It has also been revealed that the council’s treasuries are currently been looted and siphoned with reckless abandon while the impoverished and callously dehumanised civil servants who have suffered gross psychological devastation and untold agony watch in helpless manner.
However, in view of this ungodly development, and as concerned indigenes of Ankpa local government, we call on the various anti-graft agencies to beam their their search light on the administrator of Ankpa LGA. We are also calling on the Governor of Kogi State, who is an advocate of the fight against corruption, to act with immediate effect.
You have failed us woefully and rated the most incompetent administrator ever produced. But stealing what belongs to us is a No! This is not only repugnant to natural justice but a serious crime against humanity.
Ankpa LGA has always had this bad practice as it has happened also during PDP regime when an outgoing Caretaker Chairman sold all Local Government properties to enrich himself. We shall resist it this time.
Be warned.
Signed:
Mohammed Iliyas
