In the build up to Kogi state party primaries and governorship election slated for November 16, 2019 it is critically essential for any serious or potential candidate like Senator Dino Melaye to sustain his political engagement with people who are already yearning for a change from maladministration and slavery government of governor Yahaya Bello.
Dino Melaye, a prominent household name in the political space of Nigeria and internationally. A former leader of National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), former member of the House of Representatives and Chairman House Committee on Information and National Orientation, Executive Secretary, Anti- Corruption Network, former Chairman Grand Alliance, Senator elect and first ad-hoc Senate spokesman in the 8th Senate and reelected back to the 9th Senate in 2019 with a landslide victory wining six (6) LGAs out of seven (7) which make up Kogi West.
The beautiful fact about this young, handsome and intellectually mobile Dino is, he’s too sophisticated to be distracted, cowed or caged however the magnitude of storm from his detractors. Sen Dino Melaye is a survivor with plethora of many hurdles both inside and outside the murky waters of Nigerian political chemistry.
Yesterday, there was a miscarriage of judgement from the national assembly election petition tribunal nullifying Dino’s election. The grounds for the nullification has attracted concerns from so many legal luminaries across the country and have sparked up fundamental questions alike which tends to suspect the neutrality of the two members out of three in the panel.
Kogi Governor had previously boasted in widely circulated video that he will do everything including bribery to scuttle Dino’s victory. On the other hand, the APC candidate, Smart Adeyemi had previously confessed to some top source in the Presidency and his close followers that he lost election to Dino due to the fact that governor Yahaya Bello did not pay salaries and pension, as such, the people voted against him and APC.
Interestingly, the chairman of the tribunal panel stood his ground not to succumb to the dubious whims and caprices of the political desperadoes who are hell bent on distracting by the grace of God, the next Governor of Kogi State, Dino Melaye.
The matter and grounds for such black-market judgement is alien and is now getting the attention of Dino’s legal team for quashing at the Appeal Court. Dino remains Kogi West Senator!
In history, no political actor in the current Nigeria has survived the rate of political ambush that has been set before Dino Melaye, by the both the from state and federal governments. God has always rescued him, Dino will equally survive and subdue his enemies in the days ahead.
Sophisticated Dino Melaye is seen by the majority of Kogites as the best and most qualified option on all sides for Kogi PDP as candidate to rescue the state from squalor and slavery.
SDM, a he is fondly called by the masses, have always excelled in any given task, this attest to his award as the best Senator in 2016 and 2017 respectively with the highest motions and bills as well as attracting over two hundred completed visible projects to his constituency.
Humiliate him, hate him, condemn him, persecute him, detest him, threaten him, he will whether the storm and triumph. He’s made sophisticated by God with multiple talents..Dino’s orientation surpasses the the theatrics of his detractors.
He is fully prepared to offer himself for service to the masses, he will never be distracted neither will his struggle to reclaim Kogi from failed opportunist and squanderers will be waved aside.
No man is good enough to rule others without their consent, Kogi must be liberated. Sen Dino Melaye -Strong, Strategic and Sophisticated he is!
