The senator representing Kogi South in the National Assembly, Senator Dino Maleye have received a backing from a Peoples Democratic (PDP) Chieftain, in Delta State, Chief Sunny Onuesoke as he had been described as more of a leader than the State Governor, Mr. Yahaya Bello.
In a statement on Sunday, April 29, 2019, made available to Ndokwa Reporters, the PDP Chieftain said that the senator had worked on facts as most of the burning issues now in the country, were publicly exposed before they started happening, as he had been one man who had well represented his people, and had brought dividend of democracy to them.
“Dino is one man, who had respected his people so much, and had brought dividends of democracy to them.
Mr Onoseke bemoaned the injustice that had been melted to the senator, and said despite that, the injustice had failed.
“Dino is more of a leader to them in Kogi than the governor in any form of measurement. He has always been there for every Kogite and middle belt as a whole”
While acknowledging the imperfection in every man, he pointed out that whoever God had ordained to carry out his mission, he also give such a person the followership, just as his recalled process had failed, because God made it, using Nigerians to prove the injustice been melted on him.
“No one stops the child of God who has come to stay. His recall failed because Nigerians wanted him. Because Nigerians are behind him,” he stated.
The public commentator however called on the embattled senator to always learn to finish one battle before embarking on another.
“Dino has his faults but his good deeds supersede his bad side as human. Dino is a man of the people but he must learn to conclude one battle before the other”
He reminded the All Progressive Congress, APC the efforts of the senator to ensure victory of the party in the 2015 election.
“Even the presidency knows what he did for them to come into power. What Dino did for the victory of APC, 78% of the current executive arm members didn’t do it.
“The facts are there for any sincere Nigerian to see. Facts don’t lie. Facts are sacred and can’t be erased. Dino is a democrat force.
“I am a staunch PDP chieftain, I will have to say the truth. Dino spoke about 12 Tucano jets, Benue killings, non implementations of court orders by the executives etc. Are all these not facts? When God is with a man no one can take it from him or her,” he concluded.
