The Director General National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA), Prof Seidu Onailo Muhammed has donated relief materials to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Kogi state.
The items donated includes food, toiletries, detergents, baby foods, clothes, drinks and medications.
While donating the items, Prof Seidu sympathized with the victims and prayed that Almighty God will remedy the pathetic situation soon.
He urged the victims to remain calm as the situation is temporal, saying that the the federal Government is doing its best to bring succor to the people at this trying time.
Prof. Seidu who was represented by Dr. Alidu Ibrahim, Director Space Regulation and Special duties also thanked President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Governor Yahaya Bello, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Boss Mustapha, the management and staff of NEMA, KOSEMA, and other Government Agencies for their prompt response to remedy the situation.
Responding to the Gesture, the NEMA representative who received the items on behalf of the flood victims, thanked him for his philanthropy, and magnanimity which led him to provide relief for the victims.
While thanking him for the humanitarian service, he solicited for more assistance from other well- meaning Kogites just the way Prof Seidu has done.
