Dec 3 Poll: Hafiz Ringim Warns Trouble Makers to Steer Clear

The Inspector-General of Police (IG),Mr. Hafiz Ringim, has disclosed that adequate police officers would be deployed to Kogi state for the governorship election, and warned trouble makers to steer clear.

He said this while receiving 63 Hilux vehicles donated to security agencies in Kogi State by Governor Ibrahim Idris.

He expressed the commitment of the security agencies in the country to ensure a hitch-free governorship election in Kogi State.

Governor Idris said the donation of the vehicles was meant to fight crime in the state.

He urged the security agencies to ensure adequate security before, during and after the Saturday governorship poll, so as to sustain the existing peace in the state.

The governor further stressed the need for the vehicles to be judiciously used for the purpose intended, urging the security agencies not to relent in crime fighting.
