David Zacharias is a Pace Setter – Kogi Deputy Governor

Kogi State Deputy Governor, Chief Edward Onoja has described the member representing Idah Federal constituency, Hon. David Idris Zacharias as a pace setter in the political history of Idah federal constituency.

Onoja said this on Saturday at Ejule during the flag off of the constituency project and empowerment programme of Hon Zacharias where he was special guest of honour.

Represented by his wife, Mrs Ejura Onoja at the event, the Deputy Governor said the lawmaker has surprised him beyond measures for dolling out empowerment various empowerment items to constituents in different business areas.

Onoja noted that just in six months, Zacharias is proving many people wrong through the various initiatives he has instituted to better the life of his constituents.

He charged the lawmaker not to relent in his kind gestures, just as he assured him of his continued support to the lawmaker in order to carry out his works effectively.

Chief Onoja called on the beneficiaries of the empowerment programme to judiciously put to use the items distributed to them so that through their training and business development, larger number of people will gain employment.

Speaking further, the deputy governor said the administration of Bello will collaborate with lawmakers from the state so as to bring government closer to them and assured that the welfare of all Kogites top on the priority of government.

Earlier while receiving a car presented to the community for road safety operations in Ejule, Onoja commended the Federal Road Safety Commission for ensuring that there is free flow of traffic on the busy Ochadamu-Ejule road.

High point of the event was the presentation of items to over eight hundred and forty three beneficiaries cutting across the four local governments of Idah, Ibaji, Igalamela/Odolu and Ofu that make up the constituency.
