Damisa, Asuku Hail Kogi Govt.’s Infrastructural Strides as Ohere Pledges More Projects

Special Adviser on local government and chieftaincy affairs to the 4th executive governor of the Kogi state, Engr. Abubakar Sadiku Ohere embarked on commissioning of several infrastructural projects across Okene local government area.

The projects commissioned includes 5 class rooms at Lenon Secondary School, Okengwe, 5 class rooms at St. Andrew Primary School, Lafia, 27 boreholes, mosque.

Ohere, at the commissioning site, said the projects are in line with Governor Yahaya Bello’s New Direction policy geared towards making life comfortable for residents irrespective of location within boundaries of the local government council.

In his remarks, Hon. Yusuf Ahmed Tijani Damisa, member representing Okene-Ogori Magongo Federal Constituency, commended the political leader of Kogi Central, Engr. Ohere for his purposeful and visionary leadership.

The Federal lawmaker noted that Ohere has been of immense assistance to the people.

He lauded Governor Bello’s developmental strides as evidenced in a transformation in all parts of the state.

He said the governor will be remembered for his commitment towards developing of the state.

While commending the quality of the work done on the project, the Federal lawmaker said the class rooms would greatly improved academic standard of the pupils.

DG Protocol, Pharmacist Abdulkareem Asuku said that GYB administration will stop at nothing to provide the very best of education for every child at all levels in the state in line with its New Direction policy.

He made this remarks at the the commissioning of 5 blocks of classrooms in Lenon Secondary School, Ageva renovated by Engr. Abubakar Sadiku Ohere.

Engr. Ohere also commissioned the Lafia/Obessa Jumat mosque and boleholes. He said it was an honour to provide the community with water facilities as a way of complementing GYB efforts.
