REQUEST TO KOGI STATE GOVERNMENT TO EVACUATE KOGI STATE STUDENTS FROM SUDAN

We are using this medium to plead with Kogi state governor, His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello to come to our rescue.

It should be recalled that some years back, 4 students from Kogi Central got scholarship to study in Khartoum and his Excellency supported them financially till they left for their studies.

They have completed their degree program and waiting for results when the Sudan crisis came up.

They are currently stranded as the fund released by the Federal Government for evacuation was not utilized for such purpose as reported by students.

We are currently have not less than 18 students from Kogi state who are stranded in Jamiatul Ifriqiyya, Khartoum amidst the crisis.

We need the help of Kogi state government to come to their rescue to move them to Egypt and get them return ticket from Egypt to Nigeria.

They’re currently have no access to food and water and they are cut in between two heavily armed rival forces fighting for control.

Thank you in anticipation.
