… Congratulates Party Members Worldwide, Commends Appeal Court Judges, and Urges Supporters to Intensify Grassroots Mobilization Across Kogi State

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) loyalist and candidate for the Olamaboro State Constituency seat, Michael Samuel Idoko, has congratulated members and supporters of the PDP across Nigeria and in the diaspora following the dismissal of the Turaki Group’s appeal by the Court of Appeal, Abuja.

The appellate court had unanimously dismissed the appeal challenging the judgment of the Federal High Court, Ibadan, which recognized the Abdulrahman-led PDP Caretaker Committee that conducted the party’s National Convention and produced the current National Working Committee (NWC).

Reacting to the judgment, Idoko described the decision as a victory for democracy, the rule of law, and the collective aspirations of loyal PDP members nationwide.

“I heartily congratulate all PDP members and supporters across Nigeria and around the world on this significant legal victory. Today’s judgment has once again demonstrated that the judiciary remains the last hope of the common man and a strong pillar of our democracy,” he said.

Idoko commended the Justices of the Court of Appeal for their commitment to justice and the rule of law.

“I wish to sincerely appreciate and commend the distinguished Justices of the Court of Appeal for their wisdom, courage, and dedication to justice. Their decision has further strengthened confidence in our judicial system and reinforced the supremacy of the rule of law in resolving political disputes,” he stated.

The PDP stalwart urged party faithful not to be distracted by internal disagreements but to remain focused on rebuilding the party and preparing for future electoral victories.

“This is not the time for division. It is a time for unity, reconciliation, and renewed commitment to the ideals of our great party. I call on all PDP supporters to remain steadfast, hopeful, and unwavering in their support for the party.”

Expressing optimism about the future, Idoko said Nigerians were increasingly looking to the PDP as a credible alternative capable of addressing the nation’s challenges.

“The suffering of ordinary Nigerians has reached an alarming level, and millions of citizens are yearning for purposeful leadership, economic revival, security, and national unity. The PDP remains best positioned to provide that leadership and restore hope to our people.”

Looking ahead to the 2027 general elections, he called on party members across Kogi State to intensify grassroots mobilization and continue spreading the message of PDP’s readiness to return to power.

“I urge every PDP supporter in Kogi State and beyond to continue preaching the message of hope, good governance, and electoral victory. Let us take our message to every ward, every polling unit, every community, and every household. The journey to victory in 2027 begins now.”

“We must remain strong and united. Together, we can reclaim Kogi State and contribute meaningfully to the return of the PDP at the national level. The future is bright, and victory is achievable if we remain committed to the cause.”

Idoko concluded by assuring party supporters that the PDP would continue to work tirelessly to earn the trust of Nigerians and provide a platform capable of delivering sustainable development and inclusive governance.

“The PDP belongs to the people, and with the support of Nigerians, we shall emerge stronger and better positioned to lead our nation toward progress and prosperity in 2027.”
