Earlier today, the Gadumo community in a show of appreciation paid a visit to Hon Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem at his residence in Lokoja. The visit was to acknowledge the lawmaker’s exemplary leadership and recent empowerment initiatives that have greatly benefited the community.
Mr. Aliyu Abubakar, the youth leader of Gadumo, praised Hon Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem for his inclusive governance and efforts in fostering unity among the diverse tribes within the community. He appreciate a touching gesture where the lawmaker personally consoled a bereaved family and empowered the widow of a respected community member.
Madam Zainab, speaking on behalf of the women, expressed gratitude for the lawmaker’s policies that prioritize the welfare of women.
Other speakers also lauded Hon Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem for his dedication and urged him to address some community needs which she highlighted.
In response, the lawmaker thanked the Gadumo community for their recognition of his contributions and pledged to do more. He outlined plans for the rehabilitation of the Gadumo primary healthcare facility and emphasized his commitment to ongoing empowerment programs.
The lawmaker immediately requested three women to be empowered and announced five university students to benefit from his education grants coming up soon.
He also assured the community that efforts were underway to address the infrastructure challenges, including the repair of roads in Gadumo and rehabilitation of Gadumo primary healthcare.
While urging the constituents who visited to work vehemently for the victory of Aliyu Ogido Haruna the APC candidate in the incoming Chairmanship election, he noted that only victory can give room for such an interactive session that allow discussion centred on development
Chief Ede in his vote of thanks appreciate the lawmaker for his swift response to some request, describing him as a man who understands the rudiment of politics and governance. They renew their loyalty and support to his leadership.
