Coronation: NMA Chairman Felicitates Ata Igala Designate, Prince Opaluwa

Chairman of Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Kogi State chapter, Dr Omakoji Simeon Oyiguh, has congratulated the Ata Igala designate, Prince Alaji Mathew Opaluwa, on his triumphant entry into the ancient town of Ugwolawo to begin the ritual of the stool of his ancestors.

In a brief interview with newsmen in Lokoja on Monday, Oyiguh wished him a successful completion of the traditional rites.

The State NMA Chairman pledged the support of his professional association and the medical team put in place for the coronation exercise.

Dr Oyiguh also added that the association is looking forward to a robust interaction with the palace towards a fatherly role in improving community support for healthcare delivery in the state.

The NMA chairman expressed confidence that since the new Ata designate came on the scene from the podium of justice and principle of fair play, the Igala nation should witness unprecedented development during his reign in the kingdom.
