Kogi State Director General for Information and Grassroots Sensitization, Hon. Abdulmaleek Abdulkareem along side Comrade Jatto Dan Bello over the Sallah period attended various stakeholder meetings with ward executives and stakeholders at the Ohueta ward of Okehi Local Government Area of Kogi state. In attendance were party executives, elders, women and youths.
The meetings were convened as part of activities to drum more supports for the New Direction Government of Alhaji Yahaya Bello. It is seen as the only way to attract dividends of democracy to the grassroots.
One of the meetings witnessed the decamping of a prominent PDP stalwart in Ohueta ward, Jimoh Ogudu. The decamping is a great score for the New Direction, it marks a new beginning as the people of Ohueta are more united with one voice under APC.
While speaking, Hon. Abdulkareem Abdulmaleek promised the people of more government attention if they continue to support and project the good government of Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
In the same vein, Comrade Jatto Danbello, a foremost youth leader also encouraged the women and the youths to be productive, shun violence, political thuggery and all forms of antisocial behaviours and give their full supports to Gov. Bello by winning more support for the government.
He also informed the youths of the governor’s readiness to promote all that has to do with youths empowerment and job creation for the teeming unemployed youths.
