A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Otunba Adeniyi Olayemi has expressed sadness over the death of the immediate past Commissioner for Special Duties, Comrade Yahaya Adesayo Ismail.
In a statement issued in Abuja on Tuesday, Otunba Olayemi he lost a personal friend in late Comrade Ismail.
He stated that the late former Commissioner was a loyal, committed and hard working party man who was always ready to make sure everyone was carried along.
“My heart bled on hearing news of my friend’s demise. My heart still bleeds because death has robbed us of a good man.
“Aside from being a leader in the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Ismail was a person friend – a friend that stuck closer than a brother.
“Hon. Adesayo Ismail was a people’s Comrade, lover of the masses and a reliable politician,” he said.
Otunba Olayemi consoled the immediate family to take solace in the fact that their beloved father, husband and son lived a good life.
He also commiserated with Ayegunle Gbede community, Ijumu LGA and Kogi state government over the sad loss.
