Pastor Joshua Omada, the senior pastor of the Knowledge of the Truth Ministries Lokoja, has cautioned Governor Yahaya Bello to not allow his good intentions of verifying workers’ status to be eroded by a never-ending screening.

In his New Year message, the clergyman, who acknowledged government’s effort in the payment of salary backlog of many workers in the state, said other cleared workers, whose salaries are yet to be paid should not be delayed further.

He said:
“Government’s decision to embark on the screening exercise is not misplaced, as a number of things have been discovered through the exercise. Nonetheless, people who don’t have hands in any dubious practice within the system should be quickly identified and paid their money.”
