The Administrator of Ankpa Local Government Area of Kogi state, Hon. John Aduga has called on Christians to rededicate themselves to the principles taught by Jesus Christ.
In a statement to mark this year Christmas celebrations, Aduga felicitated with the people of Kogi state and the good people of Ankpa local government.
Aduga noted that “Christmas is a time for us to rededicate ourselves to the principles taught by Jesus the Christ, to love one another and to increase our compassion and extend our generosity to the less fortunate, the poor and the needy, we should not immerse in ‘jolly spirit’ and forget the poor as that will remind them of their current situations in the society.
“I wish the people Kogi State and Nigerians, especially those of Christian faith, a merry Christmas and a prosperous New year.”
