The inspiring, aspiring and visionary lawmaker, Elder Friday Sani Paul Makama has implored politicians, leaders of thought and youth to live a life replete by making each moment count. He also charged everyone to ensure the emergence of credible leaders in 2019 general election.

Makama who represents Igalamela/Odolu constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly made this known in a goodwill message to his constituents on Christmas day.

He said life can be like a game of golf.

“Nobody should worry about the past ‘bad shots’ instead focus on making the future count beginning from now. Improving your life doesn’t have to be about changing everything – It’s about making changes that count through love, forgiveness and peaceful coexistence.

“The day that seems seem impossible to come is finally with us , 25th December. Having counted for whole year, we are now here with the glorious day our savior was born. The days of Christmas can be counted but it is far better to make the days count through fair play, and justice not fowl play or political puerile.

“The birth of our savior Jesus Christ took us away from wickedness of self accumulation but bring in liberation, emancipation, freedom from our mental slavery for a robust 2019.

Mental Slavery is the worst form of Slavery. It gives you the illusion of Freedom, makes you trust, love and defend your oppressor while making an enemy of those who are trying to free you or open your eyes.

“May we put hands, minds and ideas together in solidarity to take Igalamela/Odolu to greater heights. I am at your service 24/7”

“Congratulations to all Igalamela /Odolu sons and daughters and Kogi State at large,” he said.
