Armed men suspected to be kidnappers yesterday invaded Lokoja Water Works in Kogi state and kidnapped a Chinese Expatriate from his residential Quarters built for the workers by state government.
The unfortunate incident happened barely Twenty-Four hours after armed gun men bombed a police station in Adogo, Ajaokuta Local government area of the state.
The dare-devils who invaded the premises located at Ganaja Village at about 2.am shot severally into the air to scare away neighbors around the quarters. One of the residents of the village, Alhaji Sambo Usman said the community has never witnessed such a horrible situation for a long time as the villagers were terrified by loud gun shots which lasted for almost three hours.
When our correspondent contacted the Police command, the Police Public Relation Officer, PPRO, ASP, Elvise Aguebor was said to out office. Though, a reliable senior officer confirmed the incident.
