Coordinator of Centre for Democracy and Development (CDD) Kogi chapter, Chief J.O. Yusuf, has urged Captain Idris Wada to quit office in the spirit of rule of law and democracy

In a statement issue yesterday in Lokoja Chief Yusuf said the Supreme court’s  rejection of the PDP suit requesting for a consequential order to retain him  is a clear indication that the law does not recognize Idris Wada and Yomi Awoniyi in the first instance.

He said Wada should respect the rule of law by vacating the office even as he said the PDP and its leadership must show exemplary Leadership quality by obeying court orders.

Yusuf noted that the frequent disobedience to court orders by the party and its leaders shows that the people of Nigeria can no longer entrust their destiny in their hands.

Chief Yusuf also called on all lovers of democracy and justice to prevail on the duo of Wada and Awoniyi to leave in the interest of peace.

He said if they fail to do so within reasonable period, they will apply the legal option and the peoples will  power to enforce compliance.
