The 15,000 hectares of land allocated to the fulani herdsmen by Kogi state government for cattle colony will become realistic if we vote for any APC candidates in the next week general elections, Senator Atai Aidoko has declared.

Senator Aidoko, representing Kogi East, reiterated this during an enlarged meeting with the people of his Ikeje ward 4 in Olamaboro local government area of Kogi State.

He said plans and agreement have already been concluded by the state government to issue the Certificate of Occupancy and mode of annexing the Igala/ Bassa land in the next few months.

Senator Aidoko said it will be unheard of to cede traditional and local lands in Kogi East spreading from Ibaji, Bassa, Omala and Olamaboro to the cattle herdsmen who will resort to importation of their kits and kins, with sophisticated weapons, to fight the indigenes of Igala/Bassa nation if any attempt to resist them.

He stated that the state government had concluded arrangement to use the fulani mercenaries, to prosecute the re-election of governor Yahaya Bello by all means necessary, using all forceful means to impose him on the people of Kogi state by November, later this year.

Senator Aidoko said the only solution to bring to an end the satanic plans of the leadership of APC, both at the state and federal levels, is to resolve to vote all PDP candidates, on February 16th and March 2nd 2019 across the entire state.

He expressed deep worry over the plight of state and local government workers who are being owed salaries and pensions for about 30 months without no glaring plans to pay them their entitlements.

“The ongoing fresh round of screening is targeted at reducing the workforce again, for the second time, with Kogi East as a direct target of the state government.

“Aside the political undertone that has heralded the exercise, it is also geared towards the decapitation and delineation of the Igala/Bassa land to advance the poverty ridden society that had heralded the Igala race,” he said.

The only solution, according to senator Aidoko, “is to address the upcoming tsunami starring the face of the people of Kogi East through mass mobilisation to vote out all APC candidates and reverse the trend of social and economic backwardness to the success of the area.”
