An aspirant for Ankpa, Olamaboro, Omala Federal Constituency in Kogi state, Hon. Blessing Aishat Ekele has congratulated the Comrade Adams Oshiomole led newly elected National Executive of All Progressives Congress (APC), commending the state governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for his role in the emergence of Hajia Salamatu Baiwa Umar as the National Woman Leader of the party.
In a statements issued in lokoja at the weekend, Ekele praised the entire members of the new national leaders of the party that emerged at the convention, imploring them to strive hard and bring back the winning streaks of the party.
“On behalf of my humble self and my teeming supporters, I congratulate the newly elected National Chairman and 19 other national officers of our great party, APC, especially our own Hajia Salamatu Baiwa Umar.
“There is no doubt that Your election would propel the party into victory in the much talk about 2019 general elections. Its on records, that all the victorious members are men and women of impeccable character, visionary, committed party fellows that would reform the party and bring the much needed change to the leadership, as we go into the next elections. And with this men and women leading our party, 2019 victory is almost at hand”, she said.
She charged the new leadership to discharge their responsibilities constitutionally and judiciously ,and embarked on reconciliation in order to bring all the aggrieved members back, for the progress of the party.
Ekele therefore appealed to all the members across the states, especially Kogi state to support the new national leadership of the party,by giving them maximum support so that they can discharge their duties and move the party to shine at the polls in the coming elections.
