Christians have been urged to live with the consciousness of eternity by having in mind that death is certain, after which is judgment.
Bishop Thaddeus Bako, Kogi State Chairman of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, stated this in a sermon at the first Lokoja Metro convention of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria.

Bishop Bako appealed to believers to strive to live in a city whose builder is God. He urged believers to be concerned about life after death and where they will spend eternity.

The preacher disclosed that believers should live with the basic facts about life that no one knows the exact time when the trumpet will sound. He added that the journey to eternity would not require any luggage, ticket, reservations, passport and currencies. He called on believers to be prepared as the time when people will give account of themselves to God is near.
Earlier in a remark, Apostle Alex Akoh, Lokoja metro PFN Chairman, said man was created for a purpose. He reminded believers that one day they would be made to give account of themselves.
Apostle Akoh charged believers not to toy with God’s Manual but appealed to them to fear God and keep his command, noting that it is unfortunate that men now live their lives as if it will last forever.
The three day maiden convention held at the Foursquare Gospel Church featured songs and word minisitrations as well as launch of Dove Cycle Magazine.
