Leadership and members of Biraidu Unity Foundation, a frontline Non Governmental Organization focusing on rural socio economic development, have marked their end of year get together as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen community service and internal cohesion.
The event which took place in Abuja on Saturday was formally declared open by the President of the foundation, Alhaji Idris Omeji, who acknowledged the dedication of members and the steady progress recorded despite existing challenges.
In his remarks, the President, Alhaji Idris Omeji, encouraged members to remain focused and committed to the founding ideals of the organization.
He stressed that community development requires patience, consistency, and collective effort, urging members to see every contribution, no matter how modest, as part of a larger and meaningful process.
He further called on members to deepen their sense of responsibility and cooperation, noting that the progress recorded so far was the result of shared sacrifice and mutual trust.



According to him, sustained unity and discipline would be critical in translating the foundation’s plans into lasting benefits for the communities it serves.
Also speaking at the event, Hon. Odoh Akowe commended members for their dedication and continued commitment to the foundation’s mission and vision.
He acknowledged the personal sacrifices made by members, noting that many of the foundation’s activities had been financed through individual contributions, which he described as a clear sign of shared belief in the cause.
Hon. Akowe encouraged members not to relent despite these challenges, urging them to preserve unity and remain focused on their collective responsibility to promote peace and social harmony within the wider Biraidu community.
Discussions at the gathering drew attention to the foundation’s growing footprint within the community, particularly in health support, educational assistance, and targeted help for individuals facing immediate needs.
