… as 3rd Edition of the Kogi Built Environment and Building Materials Exhibition holds between 14th -17th November, 2017.
The Media Office of the BEBM Exhibitions, the Conveners of the 3rd Built Environment and Building Materials Exhibition has named members of her Advisory Council.
The Council is responsible for guidance and promotion for the continuous hosting of the yearly event aim at creating awareness on better and affordable practices in the Built Environment Industry in Kogi state.
The Nigeria’s former Minister of Health Arc. Gabriel Aduku and The former FCT Director of Development Control Tpl Yahaya Yusuf are to Co-chair the Council. The membership of the Council is drawn from key professional bodies within the Built Environment sector of the country. Other members are Engr. Abdulmumun Sadiq, Honourable Commissioner, Kogi State Ministry of Works, Housing and Urban Development; Hon. (Mrs) Rosemary Osikoya, Commissioner, Kogi state Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources; Arc. Roberts Achanya, Director General, Kogi state Bureau for Public Private Partnership; Professor Patrick Amidu Audu, an Environmentalist and Dean, School of Post Graduate Studies, Federal University, Lokoja; Arc. Kayode Abayomi Oloninisi, Lecturer, Kogi state University, Anyigba; Builder Aliyu Ova, former Chairman, Council of Registered Builders of Nigeria and Bldr. S. D. Madamori MNIOB, Head, Building Department, Kogi state Polytechnic, Lokoja.
The statement signed by the Media Officer, Mr. Tony Awuta stated that the 2017 Edition and 3rd in series of the Kogi Built Environment and Building Materials Exhibition is to hold in Lokoja, the Kogi state capital between 14th -17th November, 2017 with the theme: Indigenous Building Materials as an Alternative in Approaching Housing Shortage in a Recessed Economy.
