Frontline House of Assembly aspirant, Arc. Amdii Zagaru has resigned his membership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Zagaru made this known on Friday when he submitted his resignation letter at the party secretariat in Lokoja.
He cited irreconcilable difference as reasons for his action.
“It is with a dissonant mix of relief and regret that I formally tendered my membership resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today at the state secretariat, Lokoja.
“When in 2001, 17 years ago, I registered as a member of the party with membership card no 9988744 at Kpata ward 7, Bassa LGA, I had hopes and dreams that my membership was on the cusp of something that would endure. That has not proved to be the case as our politics must be big enough for us to differ as we co-habit.
“For my, part I shall rise to the challenge of our circumstances and condition as a people. Bassa Constituency beckons,” he said.
Zagaru was however silent on his next move.
