Baron is Best LG Administrator in Kogi – Chairman, Elder’s Advisory Council

The Chief Administrator of Igalamela/Odolu local government area, Hon Joseph Baron Okwoli has been described as the best local government administrator in Kogi state.

The Chairman, lgalamela/Odolu Elders Advisory Council, Hon. Akogwu Onuche made the statement while interacting with newsmen in Ajaka, the headquarters of the local government.

Hon. Onuche described Baron as “the first administrative head of the local government that did not rely on the popular complaint of paucity of funds to under perform”.

“At a time in which Nigeria went through a period of economic hardship occasioned by unsustainable economic policies of previous administrations, Baron was able to bring meaningful development to the people of Igalamela/Odolu local government”, he added.

Hon. Akogwu Oguche expressed the appreciation and commendation of the Elders Advisory Council to the administrator over what he described as ‘unprecedented human and infrastructural development’. “He has built Igalamela/Odolu Hotel, a standard Secretariat Complex for workers, renovated the old secretariat, paid JAMB fees, paid school fees, rehabilitated rural roads, and has offered to pay registration fees of newly admitted students into tertiary institutions. He is already a great achiever”.

He however encouraged the administrator not to relent in his desire to provide meaningful development to the people and asked God to “grant him long life and good health to enable him achieve his vision and mission in Igalamela/Odolu local government area”.

Hon. Oguche also called on the people of the area to continue to support the administration of Alhaji Yahaya Bello and the APC at all levels; stressing that “the APC remains the only way to ensure that power never returns to looters of national treasury”.
